Pen to Paper: Journaling for Reflective Practice
Online Workshop: March 24 - April 20, 2014
Lynda Monk, MSW, RSW, CPCC
Are you looking for a creative and transformative way to care for yourself? Reflective journaling is a proven technique for increasing self-knowledge, healing stress, nourishing creativity, and enhancing resiliency.
In this
interactive online workshop, Lynda Monk, MSW, RSW, CPCC will help you experience
the creative and restorative practice of her 5-step reflective journaling method
-- Life Source WritingTM. You'll gain an
understanding of the occupational hazards within helping professions --
including burnout, vicarious trauma, and compassion fatigue -- and explore how
to mitigate these risks with reflective journaling. You'll also explore
self-care, learn how and why to create a reflective journaling practice, and tap
into your own sense of inspiration, resiliency, and inner wisdom.
Lynda Monk, MSW, RSW, CPCC, is a registered social worker and a
life and wellness coach specializing in serving the well-being and
growth needs of people who make a difference. She is the author of Life Source WritingTM: A Reflective Journaling Practice for Self-Discovery, Self-Care, Wellness and Creativity, as well as the producer of the Creative Wellness Guided Meditation CD.
