Jody Rud's life and his ties to UBC
Jody Rud – a graduate of the social work program at UBC Okanagan – was
passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and living
life to the fullest.
Even though Jody was taken too soon, those who knew him can testify to
the fact that he made an impact on the lives of many people and to know
him was a privilege.
Jody died in a car accident in Kelowna on June 11, 2011 – the day
before his 25th birthday. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Jody would be honoured that his friends and family have created a living
legacy in his memory to continue the very important work that he was
committed to doing…making a positive difference in the lives of others.
